Britt explores the minutiae of nature, the things that are often ovelooked in our everyday existence. Her work highlights the hidden beauty that exists in nature. She is interested in the fragility of man and nature and our symbiosis.
She uses resins, acrylics and plastics. Lighting is an important component in her pieces. She uses manmade light to create a sense of awe and more recently natural light and translucency have been explored.
Recent artworks investigate the human form and bone structure as a metaphor for our fragility. Recent two dimensional works explore thed complex human emotion of grief.
By combining natural and manmade materials she questions the role of man in nature.
